Experience on Your Side
Michael Zychowicz focuses in the areas of wrongful death and serious personal injury, with extensive experience in trial advocacy, and additional work in business and real estate matters. He has been licensed in Ohio and Michigan since 1985 and is admitted to practice in all Ohio and Michigan State and Federal Courts.
Mr. Zychowicz was born in Toledo, earned his undergraduate degree at Miami of Ohio, and worked at his father's business to pay his way through the University of Toledo College of Law. After clerking for a highly respected judge, Michael worked at a large firm in personal injury insurance defense, invaluable trial experience and industry insights that help him maximize compensation in his current capacity as a plaintiffs-only attorney.
Michael Zychowicz is a longtime member of the Toledo and Ohio Bar Associations, the Toledo Area Trial Lawyers Association, the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the American Association for Justice. He is a former President of the Toledo Trial Lawyers Association, and also serves as a mentor for novice trial lawyers through the American Association for Justice. Michael is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which recognizes individual client recoveries of at least $1 million, and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates forum. (See examples of his Significant Cases.)
He and law partner Gene Borgstahl, with 50 years of experience between them, split away from larger firms to open a practice in Toledo focused on the rights of union members. Their practice has evolved to represent anyone injured at work or injured by the negligence of others. Mr. Borgstahl practices chiefly in workers' compensation, and Mr. Zychowicz handles personal injury.
Michael Zychowicz will meet with you himself and personally handles your injury case. Contact him today for a free consultation.
